接新年的到来其实每个人都会怀揣着对过去日子的回顾以及对未来的期许。
Celebrating New Year is a good opportunity to look back on what all happened in the past year and send best wishes for the year which is coming.
自1991年克罗地亚独立以来，克罗地亚人民和中国人民一直保持经久不变的长青友谊，事实上，两国人民坚不可摧的友情自马可波罗访问中国时就已初见雏形，而马可波罗则是出生在克罗地亚的拉岛上。
Good relations between Croatian and Chinese people particularly intensified after Croatian independence in 1991. But friendship goes back far into the past which is mainly contributed by the great explorer Marco Polo who was born on the Croatian island of Korcula.
然而今年对于克中两国人民而言则是意义重大的一年，因为今年正值克中两国伙伴关系创建十周年，于此同时，我们期待克罗地亚领导人即将对中国进行国事访问。
The relations of the Republic of Croatian and the People's Republic of China this year has a special meaning because we celebrate a small jubilee, it is the 10th anniversary of partnership relations between the two countries on the occasion of which we expect state visit to China at the highest level.
在过去的一年中，克中两国高层互访频繁，在这里，我想特别指出的是克罗地亚议会主席约西普·莱科对中国进行的国事访问以及中国国家副总理刘延东对克罗地亚进行的国事访问。以及两国部长代表团、市长政府代表团和地方领导的互访也同样促进了两国在各个领域的积极合作。
In the past year, bilateral relations between our countries were characterized by intensive meetings at a high level. Here I want to point out an official visit of the President of the Croatian Parliament Mr. Josip Leko to China and a visit of the Deputy Prime Minister of the People's Republic of China Ms. Liu Yandong to Croatia. Also the active co-operation contributed with a number of ministerial delegations and delegations of local governments led by their mayors and regional leaders.
我们期待在新的一年里，两国人民能够致力于更多领域的相互合作，进一步提升两国经济交流，带动双边旅游业的快速发展，我们希望会有越来越多的中国游客将克罗地亚视为地中海地区的第 一旅游胜地。与此同时，开通克中两国的直航是提升旅游质量的关键，这也将开启中国和中亚相连接的第一扇大门。
In light of the good relations we expect further strengthening of economic relations and intensifying cooperation in tourism expecting that Chinese tourists will recognize Croatia as one of the leading tourist destinations in the Mediterranean. It will certainly contribute to this and the establishment of a direct flight between Croatian and China which would be one of the first direct flights that would connect China with Central Europe.
