年的钟声即将敲响，在这辞旧迎新之际，作为巴林王国驻中国的大使，我很高兴向所有的中国人民致以新年的问候，祝所有的读者朋友们新年快乐，事业进步，家庭幸福。
The bell sounding the New Year of Goat is ringing. At the key moment between the old year out and the new in, as the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Great China, I am very happy to extend New Year greetings to all Chinese people, wishing all readers a happy new year, your career greater success and your family happiness.
众所周知，巴林王国位于阿拉伯湾的心脏地区。独特的地理位置使巴林成为中巴两国商人进行商业活动的理想之地。也正是这个原因，巴林一直想发挥其在区域中心连接东西方的作用。2013年9月，巴林国王哈马德·本·伊萨·阿勒哈利法陛下对中国进行了第一次国事访问，此次访问开启了两国在政治、经济和文化领域的新时代。
As you may know, the Kingdom of Bahrain is perfectly located at the central of Arabian Gulf. This unique location provides Bahrain as an ideal condition for business activities between Chinese and Bahraini businessmen. And right because of this, Bahrain has always been willing to play its role of a regional hub bridges the West and East. In September, 2013 His Majesty, King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa paid his first official visit to China, from which a new era of bilateral history on politics, economy and culture had been opened.
巴林国王期望在相互尊重与协作的基础上，推进两国关系向全面和互动方向发展。我们希望两国之间可以不断进行定期对话。公共和私营部门也在非常努力的提升整体的双边关系。经济是两国共同关注的重中之重。我们非常高兴越来越多的中国企业开始了解巴林，参观巴林并且认为两国的财政政策应该鼓励投资，双方的自由化方针应该提高效率。
The Kingdom of Bahrain expects a more comprehensive and interactive relationships with China based on mutual respect and collaboration. We hope to establish regular and constant communications between the two countries. Public and private sectors are also working very diligently on upgrading overall bilateral relationship. Among many issues of both concern, economy is of top priority. We are glad to see that more and more Chinese companies start to know Bahrain, to visit Bahrain and to consider investors should be encouraged by our financial discipline and broad liberalization programmes aimed at improving efficiency.
巴林——海湾的一颗明珠，他的大门一直敞开欢迎中国游客来旅游，欢迎中国商人来投资。这一传统已经延续了数千年，更重要的是，它还会一直延续下去。这一传统塑造了友好的社交氛围，形成了有利的商业政策，中国投资者将会受益匪浅。
Bahrain, the Pearl of Gulf remains open and welcoming to Chinese people and business activities. This is our tradition lasted for thousands of years, and more importantly, it will last as it was. This tradition forms the social atmosphere of friendliness and also contributes to business-friendly policies, from which Chinese investors will certainly benefit.
巴中两国建交已经25年，但是过去的2014年马年，是巴中两国最具历史意义的一年。两国的外交不仅仅局限于经济领域，在文化、教育和医疗领域也往来密切。
25years after Bahrain established diplomatic relationship with China, the past year of Horse 2014 has witnessed a most historic period between China and Bahrain. Bahrain’s relationship with China extends beyond economic relations to include cultural, education and health care ties.
一直以来巴林都是阿拉伯湾地区最具吸引力的商业中心。另外，中国政府还制定了“丝绸之路经济带”和“二十一世纪海上丝绸之路”的政策。我希望巴林能够成为中国投资者和中国企业在这一活跃地带的首要选择。在新的一年，羊年，甚至更多年里，我希望相互理解和文化交流能够一直延续下去，两国的经济政治关系能够更加繁荣。
Bahrain has long been regarded as one of the most attractive business centers in Arabian Gulf. In line with the Chinese policy of building the New Silk Road Economic Belt and 21st Century Maritime Silk Route, I wish to see Bahrain as the first choice for all new Chinese investors and companies in this dynamic region. I do hope the mutual understanding and cultural exchange will continue to remain and the political and economic relationships between the two countries can thrive in the New Year of Goat and beyond.
请允许我再一次借助这次机会祝愿中国在羊年繁荣昌盛，祝愿中国人民在羊年阖家幸福，事业有成。
Again, may I take this opportunity to wish China every prosperity and Chinese people every happiness and success in the coming new year of Goat.
