基斯坦与中国之间有着坚定的友谊和信任，两国人民之间有着不可动摇的决心来进一步发展这种关系。我们与中国之间的关系不需要细化，世界各国可以随时来考 验我们两国之间坚不可摧的友谊。这在两国政府之间也可以深深体会。我们双方都很感激这种平衡的必要性，这种珍贵的情谊应当传递给下一代。我很高兴地看到我 们新的一代正积极努力地发展这一关系。
Pakistan and China enjoy an unwavering friendship and trust complemented by an unshakeable desire of our peoples to further these relations. Our relations with China need no elaboration. Countries in the region and across the globe can testify to the strength of the bond that exists between our countries. This can be felt at the government level and between our peoples. On both sides we appreciate the indispensability of this equation; an asset that must be passed on to the future generations. I am pleased to note that our new generation is motivated and inclined to increase the momentum of the relations.
巴基斯坦和中国将2015年作为“友好交往年”，用来纪念双边兄弟般的情谊与信任。在过去的65年友好交往中，双方都在真诚友好的关系中受益匪浅。为了启 动巴基斯坦-中国友好交往年，巴基斯坦驻华使馆和中国人民对外友好协会于1月28日在北京举办了一场活动。活动当天，中华人民共和国副主席李源潮阁下出席 了活动。巴基斯坦国民议会议长Sardar Ayaz Sadiq，也特意从巴基斯坦过来参加了开幕式活动。活动本身就证明了两国对双边关系重要性的重视。
Pakistan and China are celebrating 2015 as the “Year of Friendly Exchanges” to commemorate the fraternal bond, the trust, the depth and sincerity of our relationship that both countries have benefited from over the past sixty five years. To launch the Pakistan-China Year of Friendly Exchanges, a function was arranged jointly by the Pakistan Embassy and the CPAFFC on 28th January in Beijing. The Vice President of China H.E Li Yuanchao graced the occasion and H.E Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan travelled from Pakistan especially to participate in the opening ceremony. This by itself shows the value both sides attach to any activity relevant to our friendship.
在我中国的任期即将第三年的时候，我所能回忆起的与中国朋友之间的互动以及特殊的情谊，远比这些多的多。在与一些中国政府机构甚至是很多第一次见到的中国朋友接触中，这种深刻情谊体会尤为强烈。
As I approach the third year of my tenure in Beijing there is not a single occasion that I recall where in my interaction with a Chinese friend I have not felt the special connection that is articulated in the expression “pathie”. This has been equally true in associating with government institutions and Chinese friends whom I have met for the first time.
我想借此机会祝贺所有的中国朋友在即将到来的春节快乐。祝大家和所爱的人拥有一个繁荣的新年。我欢迎所有的中国朋友来到巴基斯坦，感受巴基斯坦人民的热情，就如同我和我的同事以及我的家庭在这里每天都能感受到的热情一样。
I would take this opportunity to congratulate and felicitate all Chinese friends on the approaching Spring Festival. May you and your loved ones have a fabulously prosperous New Year! I would welcome you to visit Pakistan to feel the warmth that I and my family and my colleagues experience every day in China.
